After a long winter here in Australia, and with COVID restrictions being eased across the country, it feels like Summer is finally on the way. Apple Music understands the importance of a good Summer playlist, so in celebration of the holiday season they’ve linked up with stacks of different artists across a variety of genres to curate a series of playlists titled Summertime Sounds. The collection features playlists from acts like New Zealand rapper JessB, G.O.O.D Music first lady Teyana Taylor, Sydney up-and-comer Becca Hatch, and many more.

One of the standout playlists for us comes from none other than The 67’s own Hooligan Hefs, who not only landed himself a finalist spot in the 2020 Acclaim All-Stars but has had a massive 2020 with his EP Living In Sin racking up huge streaming numbers.

Unsurprisingly, Hefs’ Summertime Sounds is absolutely geared towards party season—mixing US rap, UK drill and infusing it with a generous helping of EDM—showcasing the hardcore/hardstyle influence you’ll hear blended throughout Hef’s original tracks like ‘No Effect’ and his latest single ‘Send It!’
