Weekly updates

It’s a Monday, and we’re sad that the weekend is over, right? Well let me brighten your day. Some of the biggest names in hip-hop have released videos over the past couple of days. From Rihanna’s Anti bonus track, to Ye’s collaboration with Balmain (surprise), get ready for some pretty impressive visuals. Remember that Joe Budden diss track by Drake and French? It’s here too. YG and Slim 400 get oriental, and Torii Wolf drops an impressive live version of her tune ‘Shadows Crawl’ with DJ Premier.

Now, enough talking. It’s time to feast your eyes. Check out the latest drops from Rihanna, Drake, Ye, and more below.

01. Torii Wolf - 'Shadows Crawl'

Welcome, Torii Wolf. As part of Vevo’s discvr series, Torri and DJ Premier have teamed up for a live version of her new tune ‘Shadows Crawl’. I have to admit, the duo suit each other perfectly. The result of Torii’s wispy vocals and DJ Premier’s brooding beat? An ethereal sound.

02. French Montana + Drake - 'No Shopping'

‘No Shopping’ caused quite a frenzy online when it was first released, namely because it was Drake’s first response to Joe Budden amidst their never-ending beef. Does Drizzy look bothered? Not in the slightest. Take a look at the Dominican visuals, and feast in Drake and French’s attempts at accents. Disclaimer: ‘Hotling Bling’-esque dance moves may appear at the beginning, with Drizzy in thongs.

03. YG + Slim 400 - 'Word is Bond'

YG and Slim 400 produce a killer video for their track ‘Word is Bond’. The vid, “somewhere in Tokyo”, highlights a killer oriental aesthetic. We’re loving the Japanese vibes.

04. Rihanna - 'Goodnight Gotham'

Rihanna’s tune ‘Goodnight Gotham’, a mash-up bonus track featuring vocals by Florence Welch, gives us a glimmer of her life on the Anti world tour. She’s in Paris, impressively jumping into a swarm of loyal fans, where madness ensues, obviously. Rih’s been on a roll as of late, as ‘Goodnight Gotham’ follows in the footsteps of the commercially-successful vids ‘Work’, ‘Kiss it Better’, and ‘Needed Me’. Can this woman do any wrong?

05. Kanye West - 'Wolves' (Balmain campaign)

Okay, this is pretty dope. As part of Balmain’s new campaign, Kanye has teamed up with Oliver Rousteing for seven minutes of celebrity and designer garments. The models are sad, though – they’re crying, in fact. The video itself is quite haunting and shouts to Vic Mensa and Sia for their inclusion in the video; their parts are particularly electric.
