Uffie is has been silent for a few years due to life getting in the road of music. Having given birth to her second child and relocating to LA, she’s understandably had little time for her to put in work on the music front. And while it looks like she’d let her social media accounts turn into a digital desert, it looks like the ’00s pop queen was doing some spring cleaning after her Facebook page was apparently hacked. And this week, she’s popped up to share new music snippets via the refreshed channel.

We’ve only been given snippets of two songs that feature her driven melodic pop flavour that pervaded the 2010 album Sex Dreams & Denim Jeans. The first one being the third draft of ‘Tied Up’ which shows a housey number with radio enveloping potential, and the second offering is tentatively labelled ‘Sassy’ that serves as a call to arms for her group of ‘psychos’ (hopefully a term of endearment to describe her fans).

Now it looks like she’s quite deep into recording that new EP/album, so new music is imminent. Uffie’s return is excellent news for those who a yearning for an Ed Banger takeover in their 20^th year of existence. Until a CDQ new music arrives all we can do is  rehash her classics until new music arrives.
