MF DOOM has been dropping gems for years now but linking up with rising Brooklyn MC Joey Bada$$ has resulted in something super tasty. Jumping in to produce the new release, ‘Amethyst Rockstar’, DOOM offers up a vintage head-nodder as the foundation for Joey and fellow Pro Era affiliate Kirk Knight’s rhymes.
Collaborating with the hip-hop titan is a special moment for Joey, a long-time fan of the one and only MF DOOM. “Last year, eye was getting used DOOM beats from youtube. A year later and everything comes back full circle.. much love to medalfangaz on this one”, wrote the MC who some are hailing as the future of East Coast hip-hop.
