Lady Leshurr pulls all the punches in new video, ‘Where Are You Now?’

Ironically, collaborator Wiley is notably absent from the clip

Birmingham MC Lady Leshurr has teamed up with the godfather of grime Wiley, on her fresh new track ‘Where Are You Now?’ In the colourful track, the ‘Queen’s Speech‘ freestyler takes verbal (and physical) jabs at previous musicians in the industry and one-hit-wonders who plummeted.

“Where are you now Cus I can’t see ya / Where are you now I wouldn’t wanna be ya.”

Despite offering up a killer verse, Wiley (true to form) isn’t visible throughout the whole video, but hey, that just means Leshurr gets our undivided attention. Unfortunately after releasing the music video, she got a little more negative attention than she bargained for. Michael Angelo, producer of ‘Where Are You Now?’ was accused of not crediting and reworking Familiar Faces’ Lengman Riddim’ without permission. After a brief Twitter meltdown, an official statement from Southpoint, Familiar Faces’ label was posted and the feud was put to rest.

So all’s well that ends well in Queen Leshurr’s kingdom. Check out the hypnotic music video above.
