Coming off the rumoured mix tape Slay Z, ‘The Big Beat’ is Azealia Banks’s comeback track that will make you forget she was ever out of the game. Sure, the 24-year-old rapper might tweet the occasional questionable opinion, but there is no doubt she can still drop a good tune. The funky pop beat meshes well with her fast-paced flow and thugged out lyrics. The beat itself is built from a sample from Notorious B.I.G and produced by An Expresso, featuring plenty of synthesisers and a bass line made to dance to.
