Bibi Bourelly, who was behind Rihanna’s recent single ‘Bitch Better Have My Money’, has released the hearty track ‘Riot’ on Soundcloud.

The song is a sound intro to Bourelly, who notes her teenage years, school and family as inspiration for her song writing. Noticeably, a desire for authenticity imbues through her song writing. This is clear in the feisty lyrics which resonate throughout the acoustic ballad. It’s easy to see the connection between Bourelly and Rihanna-hearing the track for the first time one could be mistaken in listening to Rihanna circa 2007. (Also, Bibi and RiRi?…These guys were meant to be)

The 20-year-old from Berlin has over 20,000 followers on Instagram. Bourelly’s Instagram has a number of songs in the works featured as well as numerous snapshots with highly recognisable people from the industry [read: Yeezys].
