In the lead up to the drop of the forthcoming Black Milk album, the producer is releasing a series of collab mixtapes in conjunction with illustrator Upendo “Pen” Taylor. This release is to be the first of the pair’s collection, entitled Fuzz, Freqs & Colors (FFC). It will be released in stores on Record Store Day (April 20), but can be streamed online now. The concept for the mixtape plays off the duality of audio/visual arts, complementing Black Milk’s beats with artworks by Upendo.
