De La Soul have released a teaser to their hotly anticipated mixtape Smell the D.A.I.S.Y, which is made up entirely of reworked tracks with J Dilla beats. New single ‘Dilla Plugged In’ has been reconstructed from 3 Feet High And Rising‘s ‘Plug Tunin’ and has that sweet nostalgic sound of the golden era of hip hop.

On De La’s SoundCloud page they had this to say about the upcoming release;

“It’s been 25 Years since our “Three Feet High” release. We have a lot great memories and an incredible journey. Amazingly enough, our fans stuck around, supported and still want more. Ok, but before you get that, here’s a little De La over Dilla Beats.”
