With speculation rising that Drake will be releasing Views from the 6 any day now, he’s (kind of) given the fans what they want with the release of two new songs. And they couldn’t be more different from one another. ‘One Dance’ features Nigerian artist Wizkid and singer Kyla, and continues Drizzy’s love of Caribbean-style music, which will surely please fans of ‘Hotline Bling’ and Rihanna collab ‘Work’. On the flip side, ‘Pop Style’ taps none other than the Watch the Throne duo—Jay Z and Kanye West—and is an expectedly meaner vibe and takes aim at the many critics that all three rappers have amassed in their collective careers. The internet has already started to weigh in on what the finished album might sound like, with some even suggesting we could be getting double-album, due to the pure contrast of both tracks. As always, Drake isn’t following in Kanye’s free-tweeting footsteps, so we’ll all just continue to hold our breath until 6 actually drops.
‘One Dance’ and ‘Pop Style’ are available to stream via Apple Music and purchase via iTunes.
