A month after premiering the track during his Coachella set, Joey Bada$$ has dropped the studio version of latest track ‘Devastated’. Produced by Adam Pallin, Kirk Knight and Powers Pleasant, the radio-friendly track sees Joey take an entirely different approach to anything previously heard from the Brooklyn-bred artist. Despite the title, ‘Devastated’ manages to balance Joey’s trademark wordplay with a bombastic, uptempo, and uplifting vibe. With a future full-length project remaining, as yet, without a formally announced release date, it is hoped that this latest track signals that Joey Bada$$ is preparing to roll out a new album and further his takeover of the East Coast rap scene.
