Mad Decent is the record label equivalent of Jennifer Love Hewitt in Can’t Hardly Wait. Everybody wants a piece, but they all know they need to put in work (or in this case, money) to cop some.

Jeffree’s is Mad Decent’s digital imprint that pops off every week and puts out for free – more like Renee Zellweger in Empire Records. Still high quality but effortlessly accessible.

This week Jeffree’s is giving it up for the tag team of London Future and Djemba Djemba, with their new track Look At Me Now. I am currently having a momentary lapse of logic because what I think it’s really telling you to do is Listen To Me Now, which you should do if only to hear Ifa Sayo on vocals. No that’s a lie, you should listen to it because the whole damn track sounds great.

Ifa Sayo is a Trinidad native, East London based vocalist who can carry a note better than I can carry a classic teen movie analogy. London Future is a 21 year old visual and audio artist, meaning he is just legal enough to access the club.

Djemba Djemba is the golden child of Mad Decent – personally anointed by the almighty Diplo. He is also one of the better producers I’ve seen perform this year. In classic Djemba Djemba style, Look At Me Now gives your shoulders/arms/general limbs a better workout than lifting at the gym. If this track needed to be genre-fied I would call it “clubberobics”.
