After recently threatening to leak her entire album because fuck the system, M.I.A. has unleashed the third track from the upcoming Matangi. It’s called UNBREAK My Mixtape and it’s much less epileptic than predecessors Bring The Noize and Only 1 U – in fact Maya has tagged it with “soft”, “lovers rock” and “break up songs” on its SoundCloud page.

Featuring lucid, swirling vocals and samples of Blur’s Tender and Karen Dalton’s I Love You More Than Words Can Say, it serves as a welcome gentle comedown from her usual ecstasy-powered rave anthems.

Matangi is due for release on November 5 via N.E.E.T./Interscope/Virgin, assuming she doesn’t leak it herself first.
