Acclaim gets a taste of self-proclaimed “Badman Baby-Boy,” Malkam, as he sits and chats with Harlem’s finest, Kaila Burke-Ozuna.

The Jamaican-born New York local talks us through his latest project, “Badman Season,” which is set to drop at the end of February. He explains how the album is a derivative of life’s seemingly unexplainable circumstances, good and bad.

Malkam further breathes life into the dialogue as he presents his start in rap (shoutout Eminem), growing up with Michael Jackson and Vybz Kartel as the background soundtrack, and the wild juxtaposition of the island life next to the world’s most ferocious city.

The conversation bounces between the two as similarities procure from the ground up like the artist essentially has these last few years., signaling people worldwide to tune into this one-of-a-kind drum and bass enthusiast turned NY rapper.
