Brisbane’s Mawie has been on a promising roll over the last 12 months, dropping a slew of singles including ‘Still Alive’ with fellow Queenslander and Swish Music don Dau Dau, ‘Pretty Little Thing’ alongside Ebony Ruth and his impressive solo track ‘Last Night’, which has racked up over 200k streams. Today, Mawie returns with another heater titled ‘Snakes & Roses’, produced by Sydney powerhouse Tasker. It’s the first drop from Mawie in 2021 but we’re told there are more singles to come, followed by the release of his upcoming EP in the latter half of the year. If ‘Snakes & Roses’ is anything to go off, we’re excited to see what’s next from the young artist.
