Exciting new music out of Melbourne today as Jerome Farah drops his debut single and accompanying visual for the heavy-hitting and genre-blending track ‘I Can’t Breathe’.
Raised in Melbourne by his Lebanese father and Zimbabwean mother, Farah’s multifaceted upbringing is reflected in his unique sound and approach to writing. Though he’s never released his own music before today, the talented young songwriter has worked on tracks like Kian’s debut single ‘Waiting’, as well as alongside artists such as Adrian Eagle, Tones & I, Tash Sultana and Baker Boy. As part of Australia’s new generation of songwriters, Farah has been pushing concepts forward in the world of RnB and alternative hip-hop and ‘I Can’t Breathe’ is no exception, with the young artist blending musical styles on the hard-hitting and straight to the point track.
Furthermore, all artist profits from the track’s sales in Australia will go to the Victorian Aboriginal Legal Service.
