PREMIERE: Lil Spacely Brings an Ice-Cold Flow on New Single ‘Husky’

With a Husky on his hip, the Sydney rapper drops an icy new visual to accompany one of his coldest tracks yet.

Sydney’s Lil Spacely is shaping up to have a very impressive 2020. He’s shown us his boom-bap stylings on ‘Still Trappin’ alongside Elijah Yo, and his energetic track ‘No Excuses’ saw him spit fire over flutes. Most notably, Spacely traversed the beat of ‘100 Degrees’ alongside Haile Ambessa, Biz, and Griiz, creating an undeniable turn-up anthem.

Continuing his recent hot-streak, Spacely returns with some ice-cold flows on his high-altitude new single ‘Husky’. It’s a joint begging to be blasted through big speakers, with production from Sydney’s Korky Buchek. ‘Husky’ pairs reverberated synths with rumbling 808s, creating a sonic palette for Spacely to flourish on with his autotuned melodies, triplet flows, and an amplified sense of swagger. The video finds Spacely in eye-catching Winter scenery, filmed throughout Jindabyne and Perisher Valley in NSW, as he comes through with a new kind of flex: “I’m rollin’ with a Husky on my hip”— No cap.

Keep it locked to Lil Spacely here and check out the video for Husky below.
