Red Bull Music has had a massive past few months, with a showcase at Dark Mofo and their recent opening party at Splendour In The Grass. But as a brand that has established themselves on both promoting and celebrating Australian music, they aren’t stopping any time soon.
This August, Red Bull Music are hosting three events throughout Melbourne and Sydney. The first and last is Red Bull Music Presents Lonnie Liston Smith & The New Cosmic Echoes, which will open in Sydney on the 23rd of August and close in Melbourne on the 25th. This will be the legendary jazz musician’s first time in Australia.
In Sydney on the 24th will be Red Bull Music Presents Mood Forever: Manu Crook$ & Co a homecoming show for Manu as he celebrates one year of his EP. This is going to be one blockbuster of a night, culminating the enormous amount of success he’s had not only on our shores, but overseas. Manu Crook$ will be joined by friends and fellow artists such as B-Wise, Lil Spacely, UV Boi, and more.
If you’re a fan of jazz and hip-hop, these are shows you are not going to want to miss.
