Red Bull Music and Splendour In The Grass are teaming up again to kick off Australia’s biggest festival in an explosive fashion. Following their huge 2017 show that featured Sampa The Great, B Wise, and loads more, Red Bull have enlisted a dynamic follow-up lineup curated to light up Byron Bay on a Thursday night.

Featuring the debut live performance of supergroup The Formula (Manu Crooks, Anfa Rose, BLESSED, Dopamine, and Joy), Baker Boy (performing alongside Dallas Woods) and Hoops (Nina Las Vegas and Bad Ezzy), this party is not only an ideal way to kick off the weekend festivities, but also an opportunity to see the latest and greatest in Australian music. Other acts that are on the lineup include UV Boi, SK Simeon, Jesswar, DJ Klasik and AV artist Ego, who will be performing his unique blend of music and visual art.

This party marks the 5th anniversary of Red Bull Music and Splendour In The Grass working together throughout the festival, and the second opening party they have thrown together. For 20-years, Red Bull has been committed to moving culture forward across the globe by empowering artists to pursue their creative ideas. Red Bull Music is a continuation of this commitment. With multiple Red Bull Music Festivals, music education workshops, collaborations with artists and thousands of initiatives supporting local music communities around the world, the program celebrates music, its culture and the transformative minds behind it.
