[Update]: Following leaked tracklists and an apparent early album leak via TidalAnti is officially here and can be streamed (guilt-free) via Jay Z’s music service. There’s not much that differs from the info people were able to take from the initial leaks, with the only guest appearances from the already-confirmed Drake and TDE’s ethereal songstress SZA. While the album is still very much relationship and romance-focussed, Anti is a much more emotionally driven and focusses more on Riri’s strengthened voice than a club-ready beat. But it’s literally been minutes since it’s release—check it out for yourself.

[Original 11.54am, 28/1/16]:

A new song from either Drake or Rihanna is enough to get us ridiculously, embarrassingly, over-the-top excited. They are two zeitgeist-capturing artists full of flare, fearlessness, and creative innovation and ingenuity. So imagine our joy this morning when we heard a new collab tune between the two had dropped—their first since 2011’s stunning heartbreak anthem, ‘Take Care’. The dream team’s new track ‘Work’ is an understated banger, buzzing with an infectious sing-along hook and the perfect synergy of Drake’s rapping and RiRi’s melodic voice.

The tune is the latest release from Rihanna’s upcoming album Anti, which has already produced some undeniable gold by way of singles ‘Bitch Better Have My Money’, ‘American Oxygen’, and ‘FourFiveSeconds’.

Have a listen to the track’s BBC Radio One world premiere below, wave your hands up in the air, cry some happy tears, and see what you think. ‘Work’ has already topped the iTunes charts in over 70 countries and is available now.
