Created by Hevehitta, the Writer’s Bench Mixtape has been inspired by the iconic street art film, Style Wars.Hevehitta created the 15-track mix “focusing on the art of graffiti by the way of hip-hop music – bearing no relation to the Writers Bench clothing company, the title refers to the 149th Street and Grand Concourse train station in the Bronx, the legendary meeting place where graffiti writers would sign black books, watching freshly painted trains.”
