We’ve really been spoilt for choice lately with the range of underground rap and electronic acts scheduled to head to our shores shortly. Let’s hope this is a trend that sticks around because the ‘golden-era only’ selection of hip-hop acts that has frequented Oz venues for the last couple of years was getting kinda… well, tired. Much like the physical state of the middle-aged acts themselves. Not hating, there has been some gems but some epic fails also. End of the day, it’s always great to see  some fresh blood. And if it’s fresh blood you’re thirsty for, it’s your lucky day as Chicago-based duo J2K and Autobot AKA Flosstradamus is headed our way in February 2013 and we are the presenting partners! Yew.

If you’re a fan of trap… but also artists as varied as Prince, Cat Stevens, Beastie Boys and Daft Punk, you’re gonna wanna see these guys in the flesh. Flosstradamus have released some of the year’s biggest tunes on the Mad Decent and Fools Gold imprints. From the chillingly twisted Lana’s Theme, to the tasty re-workings of Usher’s monster hit Climax (with Diplo), Major Lazer’s anthem Original Don, and their collab with Baauer (Roll Up), this duo sure know how to bring the party. And the party they shall bring all across Aus and NZ this coming Feb. So don’t miss out.
