If you’ve managed to see Vv Pete perform at her recent shows around Sydney, you’ll know she’s strapped with a arsenal of explosive, unreleased material which gobsmacked audiences are already learning the lyrics to.

After stirring crowds at venues like Oxford Arts Factory (FBi SMAC’s Fest), and even The Opera House (As part of Street University) the Mount Druitt-based, Sudanese rapper/singer is ready to share her club-ready debut track Bussit.

Teaming up with Sydney-based producer Utility (Snoee Badman, Kobi Spice, Lil Jaye) Vv delivers commanding bars over hard-hitting and sub-heavy drums, building a next-generation, strip club anthem that emplores you to bust down whether you’re at the club or at the bank. Vv is equipped with a sharp flow reminiscent of artists like Stefflon Don and Lizzo. A bresh of fresh air in the Aus music landscape, the West Sydney artist captures one-of-a-kind energy through her witty phrasing, lyrics and final boss-level delivery.

Overall we’re gassed to have Vv as the latest arrival in the Aus rap landscape and can’t wait to see more from the rising new talent.

Follow Vv Pete here for more and stream ‘Bussit’ out now on all platforms.
