RL Grime’s debut album is due for release later this year via WeDidIt, and the LA producer has just injected some serious anticipation with the records first single, ‘Core’.

Up front, RL Grime trap beats receive some extra flavour, thanks to a looped sample from Trick Daddy and Trina’s ’98 classic ‘Nann Nigga’, making this the catchiest track you’ll hear all week.

As if the 23-year-old’s bass wasn’t heavy enough on its own, the banger has received some trippy, dystopian visual treatment via David Rudnick (Evian Christ art direction, enough said) and Daniel Swan: think Neo Tokyo meets the craziest game of Helicopter ever.
