Jaden Smith‘s new video has him roaming the streets of Matera, Italy while being stalked by an eventually successful assassin. The clip is for his song ‘Scarface’, a track that shows that the kid is absorbing the world around him.

Last week he spun a fairly woke yarn about appropriation, saying:

“Once you take that step in the dark and you find a stair, it lights up. If Drake is over here and he finds a stair and it lights up I’m not gonna be an idiot and say “I’m only gonna use my stairs”. I don’t care about the stairs, all I care about is going higher.”

Which is uncanny, because his flow in this sounds a lot like Drake’s. But, he can’t cop criticism because he’s already voiced a very valid reason for the comparisons. Then again, maybe they just have the same ghostwriter.
