Fans are biting their nails and losing their proverbial shit over the release date of Joey Bada$$‘ impending debut LP B4.DA.$$. To tide you over the Pro Era rapper has released the album’s first single ‘Christ Conscious’.

Directed by M-I-E, produced by Basquiat and filmed on the streets and rooftops of Brooklyn, New York. The visuals touch on a lot of Sacred geometry, the Fibonacci sequence and crown shakras amongst other things. Speaking to MTV, Joey had this to say about the video:

“That record to me is like, “I’m here”. The whole idea of the song is, I’m building up, channelling my energy, getting stronger and stronger until one day I finally evolve. And that’s what it is in the video: Me ascending to this next level.”
