Everything, everything is made better by inflatable arm flailing tube men. Used car dealerships know this, tacky furniture outlets know this and now, Toro Y Moi knows it.

His new side project Les Sins is a kind of funky, house-inflected production with a sparse, lo-fi visual aesthetic. If there’s one thing Chaz Bundick gets, it’s linking appropriate visuals to a particular kind of sound.

The first single off upcoming album Michael is the anthemic Bother. The accompanying video involving a tube man bumping and grinding to earn that inflatable paper in a variety of locations is great. It even ends with the yellow fella boating off into the sunset.

The sound is a fair departure from Chaz’s previous projects and has an almost Bonobo or Moi Je edge to the beat. Check it out above.

Michael is out on October 31 through Mistletone/Inertia in Australia and New Zealand.
