Watch: Pusha T freestyles for Sway in the Morning

"I don't tap dance much but imma tap for Sway"

Posted by

One of the most lyrical rappers in the game, Pusha T, stopped by Sway In The Morning the day before his album dropped, to share a few gems and spit some bars. Sway and the under-appreciated MC break down some of the records from Darkest Before Dawn, the meaning behind ‘Crutches, Crosses, Caskets’, ‘M.F.T.R.’, and ‘Sunshine’, his collaborations with incredible talents such as Diddy and Jill Scott all before he kills a live freestyle. In the words of Sway “I need them to hear what it suppose to sound like, because if you don’t spit they don’t know what it could sound like, how good it could be”. The interview touches on King Push’s fashion venture with Play Cloths, G.O.O.D. Music presidency, childhood fights with his brother No Malice, and much more.

The conversation lasts a good while, with the freestyle starting around the 38-minute mark. Check them out above.
