Fans of Adult Swim’s Rick and Morty—which essentially plays out like a hilarious, perverse, interplanetary (inter-dimensional?) Back to the Future—and Compton MC Kendrick Lamar have great reason to rejoice, as an internet hero has seen fit to merge the two. Kendrick Lamar’s ‘Swimming Pools’, taken from 2012’s good kid, m.A.A.d city, is played over clips taken from some of Rick and Morty‘s greatest episodes – with special appearances from fan favourites Slow Mobius, Birdperson, and the eponymous Rick’s recurring alcoholism. As to how the pairing fits together, well, let’s just say it’s rather uncanny.
