Most things Kanye West touches turns to gold. Those things are also often surrounded by some sort of controversy. People have obviously been fiending for the latest Yeezy release and have been keeping pretty close tabs on retailers IRL and URL.
One of the primary release methods have been the adidas Confirmed app which glitched and accidentally released overnight, allowing keen sneakerheads to actually place orders for the coveted shoe before the specified timeframe. But, as the saying goes, it was too good to be true, with adidas coming out and confirming there was an error and that many ‘successful’ orders would be cancelled. It seems there are ongoing issues with the app, including inconsistencies with release times, shopping cart glitches and, well, just not working at all.
Fans are not happy and many took to social media to express this, obviously. And with many app reserves selling out in minutes, this is sure to make the weekend a little more tense. Watch this space.
