Baker Skateboards and Neckface collaborate for Fall ’16 collection

Nasty Neckface puts his twisted spin on a series of skate decks and pins

Posted by

Acclaimed skate label Baker Skateboards have just announced they’re doing some sweet collabs with the equally loved/hated, Stockton-via-Brooklyn street artist Neckface for a new set of tees, boards, and lapel pins for their upcoming Fall 2016 capsule collection.

The designs are signature Neckface in all of their absurdly cartoonish aesthetic and comically grotesque glory,  but with distinct references to Baker and even the over-caffeinated habits of the brand’s founder, Andrew Strickland.

Despite the fact that it is not the first time either party have collaborated (Neckface was once Art Director for the brand), this is certainly a welcome return for the artist known for defacing communal surfaces with his ‘fucked up’ watercolours. Following a one-off collab with controversial filmmaker, Harmony Korine, Baker’s latest joint effort has definitely yielded some interesting results.

Check out the Neckface x Baker collection in the above gallery. All the decks are available for purchase online.
