Behind the scenes on Kenzo and H&M’s editorial shoot with Jean-Paul Goude

The hype around the highly anticipated collab just got bigger

KENZO and H&M are coming together for one of their biggest campaigns yet. Already, these are two pretty huge names in fashion but the stars selected to model the collab are pretty big as well: from rappers to supermodels, actresses and composers, it’s a rich mix of talent to say the least. In the campaign, the likes of Iman, Rosario Dawson, Chance The Rapper, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Chloe Sevigny, Suboi and Xiuhtezcatl Martinez will be making appearances.

With work spanning over five decades, there is hardly anyone more apt to bring this collab to life than iconic photographer Jean-Paul Goude, according to KENZO’s creative directors Carol Lim and Humberto Leon. “We love to work with our idols, and Jean-Paul Goude is a true icon. His images for KENZO x H&M are incredible, and capture the personality, positivity and freedom of the collection.” For Goude, working with Carol and Humberto was an adventure. “I love the attitude that they have brought to the collection, and their youth, energy, fun and style,” he said.

Set to come out October 17, the campaign will promote the new collection which will be hitting 250 H&M stores and the online store in early November. Check out the BTS in the gallery above, as well as some of the design gifs below and stay tuned for what we can safely say will be a fire drop.
