One of the Wu-Tang Clan‘s quietest achievers, Inspectah Deck, took six years to release his first solo album. Although it gained a little underground success, he has never reached the same sort of popularity as fellow Wu members like Meth, RZA or Ghost despite having killer verses on some of the Wu’s best tracks like ‘Triumph’, ‘Visionz’, ‘Hollow Bones’, ‘C.R.E.A.M.’, ‘Bring Da Ruckus’, etcetera.

In a recent interview with HipHopDX, Deck explained his plans to retire, his thoughts on fellow members, and the existence of a lost verse for the classic Wu track ‘C.R.E.A.M.’:

“I was in front of the building with crack in my sock, man. There was two verses to “C.R.E.A.M.” A lot of y’all don’t know, me and Rae had two verses apiece for “C.R.E.A.M.” That was a long-ass song, and I’ve got an unheard, second verse that I’m gonna put in that book for you.”

Check out the original version above, and we’ll let you know when the new verse is released.
