Kenzo has designed a piece for Eastpak Artist Studio, and it’s a highly original take on the bag brands’ original form. In true Kenzo style, head designers Humberto Leon and Carol Lim have incorporated the iconic tiger print and bold blocks of colour that distinguish the brand with the humble Eastpak backpack. Kenzo is all about functionality and surprise, and their design for Eastpak definitely reflects these ideals. The bag comes with various useful attachments including a pouch, miniature backpack, towel and a hat.

Kenzo is amongst a range of designers involved in Eastpak’s 2016 Artist Studio Collection, the others being: Vetements, Christopher Raeburn, Nicopanda, Ami Paris, Wanda Nylon, House of Holland, Jacquemus, Giambattista Valli, Alexandre Vauthier, and Inan.

The backpacks will go on sale on the December 1 at the Eastpak website, and for a good cause as well, with all proceeds will go directly to the Designers Against Aids Charity. Kenzo’s unique design will go on sale for 500€.
