Notorious for their irreverent approach to streetwear and diverse history of collaborators from New Era to Kiwi-based label Huffer, StreetX and Pestle & Mortar Clothing (PMC) make the perfect storm to tell their story of sweltering heat and skewered meats.

With similar brand DNAs of always taking pride in our culture, lifestyles and being part of communities that are influenced by sports and the great outdoors, this collaborative process felt more like two friends coming together to create and celebrate something we love,” explains PMC founder Hugh Koh. “Other than being a favourite Australian pastime, barbecuing has been a cornerstone of PMC’s celebrations throughout the years from collection launches to our Smashing Weekend parties.”

Fresh off the grill, the collection lets you taste the heat—quite literally through their range of printed tees and barbecue equipment. As a recurring element, the slick interpretation of StreetX and PMC’s joint logo is featured on prints like the Party Starter Tee and other accessories. Done in collaboration with outdoor recreation gear experts Coleman, Barbie Mates Coleman Stainless Grill and Tools of The Trade are their takes on barbie essentials, featuring a custom design plate on the former and a laser-engraved detail on the latter.
