Rappers releasing their own line of Christmas sweaters seems like a good idea… on paper. In reality, they come off like your Aunt just listened to 36 Chambers for the first time and decided to get on your level.

This year our primary suspects are 2Chainz and “Nasty” Nas who both recently dropped their own lines of cringeworthy festive sweaters.

The Nas sweaters feature a kneeling Santa with a furrowed brow and a whole tonne of attitude the kids will certainly relate to.

On the other hand, 2Chainz continued his tradition of “ugly Christmas sweaters” with iterations of a dancing Santa. This is a far-cry from last year when 2Chainz hit the ball out of the Jesus-what-the-fuck-were-they-thinking park with a line of “Dabbin’ Santa” sweaters.

But it’s all in good spirit. Being the kind-hearted philanthropist he is, proceeds from the 2Chainz sweaters will go towards the rapper’s T.R.U. Foundation which helps support young children and families in need.

“T.R.U. Foundation has always been there to help the needy, to help people, and involved with communities, even domestic, inside and outside the household,” he told Business Insider. “It’s important to continue growing, continue helping, and sharing the blessings that I get.”

Furthermore, proceeds from sales of Nas’ kneeling Santa sweaters will go towards The Center for Court Innovation, which promotes reform of the justice system to give way to more “effective” and “humane” methods.
