The iconic Stan Smith tennis shoe is making a return in 2014 and adidas Originals has put together a sweet little trailer featuring the man that inspired the shoe and the people who are continually inspired by the shoe.

In case you didn’t know, even though the sneaker style has been on hiatus, the man himself, legendary American tennis player Stan Smith is alive and well, and you can hear his take on the massive impact his signature shoe has had on sneaker culture in the video above. Alongside him are a bevy of big names across sport, music, fashion and entertainment including Derrick Rose, Andy Murray, Will Arnett and Sky Ferreira.

Keep an eye out for the all-white winners’ comeback (as well as many expected reincarnations) in the coming year.
