Jim Lambie is a Glasgow-based artist whose trademark style involves the use of bright vinyl tape arranged into different patterns and colours around the floor of a gallery, transforming an otherwise dull, motononous space visual spectacle. This particular aesthetic of psychedelic, tessellated prints was also an influence on Raf Simon’s menswear collection for Jil Sander back in Spring 2011.
