Combining work and pleasure is often a dangerous thing, but in this case budding photographer Wei Gensheng from Shanghai has hit the nail on the head. Gensheng is currently involved in the construction of the Shanghai Tower, set to become one of the world’s tallest buildings once it’s finished. Working as the crane operator on site, Gensheng has snapped a few incredible shots of the city from above – 2,000 ft above to be exact.

Finally some awesome aerial photos that aren’t taken by a thieving eagle.
