Dave Chapelle’s recent cover shoot and interview with GQ Magazine for their ‘Man of the Year’ series pretty much cements his return to the limelight, which has been eagerly awaited by millions of fans ever since he walked away from all that cash back in 2005.
In his video review of 2014, Dave talks us through his comeback, listing Kanye’s surprise appearance at his Radio City Music Hall shows and the shows themselves as some of the highlights. When asked to sum up his year in a single phrase his response was “midlife crisis”, which could explain his sudden return to the media spotlight and accompanying world tour. After all, there are few things better for a man’s confidence than a world tour.

In his written interview, Dave lets us in on his future plans which include taking over the TV world, one cameo at a time. “I want to do this thing where I guest-star on as many television shows as I possibly can” he told Mark Green, before listing a few dream roles which include being “a zombie in The Walking Dead”, “a corpse on CSI” and being “the first black guy to fuck Olivia Pope on Scandal…”.
