It’s hard for many of us to imagine a time when drugs and the use of them wasn’t heavily restricted or penalised. Evidently, ’70s America was a completely different world, one where coke was everywhere (have you been watching Narcos?)… even in plain advertising material. The enterprising folk at The World’s Best Ever managed to find a trove of old ads for drug paraphernalia and these are definitely not discrete—unless you count the ad that’s actually selling a ‘hide-away’ tray product.
