Bars is Acclaim’s weekly wrap up of all the music we want you to get in on. Whether it’s new albums, mixtapes, tracks, or videos, we’re here wading through the noise to bring you only the finest happenings in the world of music. Hit the list below to see what we’ve been bumping this week.

01. Banoffee – 'Ripe' video

Banoffee’s just dropped the video to her most recent single ‘Ripe’—another stellar clip from the artist who always delivers great videos. The mood is equal parts wonder and darkness, with an eery tension forced upon us throughout. Together with the sickly sweet sound of the single it makes for a purposely overwhelming experience that we’re hooked on.

02. Sunni Colón – 'Little Things'

‘Little Things’ is a soft and sweet song from LA singer Sunni Colón with production from Kaytranda. The track sees Sunni cruise his airy vocals over some trademark funk from Kay in perfect union. There’s a really nice time to be had listening to this one—so stop what you’re doing and hit play already.

03. Kah-Lo – 'Fasta'

Kah-Lo is a Nigerian born rising star who’s been working with producer Riton. She’s just dropped her single ‘Fasta’ an energetic debut for the artist’s solo work. We expect big things.

04. Kelela – 'LMK' video

While we patiently wait for Kelela’s debut album Take Me Apart (which is due in October) we’ve been blessed with lead single ‘LMK’. Now the killer single has a jaw-dropping video that has left us reeling. It’s look after look after look from Kelela in this clip and we’re here for it. Expect us playing this on repeat until October.

05. Manu Crooks – 'Scary Hours Freestyle'

Sydney rapper and producer Manu Crooks is gearing up to drop his EP mood forever on August 18 and in the meantime has shared a surprise track on Soundcloud. ‘Scary Hours Freestyle’ won’t be on the EP—it’s more like the entree before the main meal. It’s definitely left us hungry for more.

06. Moses Sumney – 'Quarrel'

Another album we’re eagerly anticipating is Moses Sumney’s Aromanticism which is due in September. Moses already shared a killer lead single and video in ‘Doomed’ back in June but we now have ‘Quarrel’ to keep us going while we wait for September.
