Super-producer and all around musical prodigy Dev Hynes (aka Blood Orange) has been working on a follow-up to 2011’s Coastal Grooves, and as he’s told MTV Hive that there are already some exciting musical guests. So far Clams Casino has been in to record with Hynes, as have Jessie Ware and UK electro-pop group Kindness. The pitch-black instrumental goodness of Clams Casino matched with Hynes’ songwriting prowess should be a dynamite combination. We expect nothing less from the musical director for Solange.
While you patiently await Hynes’ next musical output, enjoy his recent work with Sugababes Mutya, Keisha and Siobhan on a very Blood Orange reworking of Kendrick Lamar’s Swimming Pools.
