It’s shaping up to be a long, hot summer and The Operatives are bringing the heat over the New Year period, with the promise of an Australia/New Zealand tour from two of your favourite beatmakers – Hudson Mohawke and Mr. Carmack. Both producers will feature at Perth’s Origin festival on NYE, before ringing in 2015 at Melbourne’s lush Let Them Eat Cake festival on January 1. And there are individual shows slated for (most) other Australian capital cities, as well as our cousins in NZ, on either side of the new year for both beatmakers. There’s really no need to convince you to act fast on these gigs because if their previous visits to our hood are anything to go by, you should already be reserving you place in the front row.
