A Cashmere Cat beat is just as likely to induce a rigorous trap-arms episode as it is to encourage a slow grind with your honey. So it’s fitting that when he rolled through our hometown of Melbourne for the ever-popular Laneway Festival, he also hit up The Liberty Social for his sideshow – lacing the grungy, intimate basement venue with his distinct vibe. Supported by The Operatives’ own Silent Jay, among other class DJs, the Norwegian beatmaker showcased what wunderkind really means.
