Event recap: Melbourne – Chet Faker

Chet Faker has seen some phenomenal success for his debut album Built on Glass since its release in early 2014, and last Friday he began its final live run with a show at his hometown venue, Sidney Myer Music Bowl. Things are definitely switching up for the Future Classic artist—he’s lost his signature beard and is moving on to new musical plains with collaborative project with Marcus Marr—so fans were definitely left feeling some type of way with this bittersweet performance. After bringing the show to Brisbane on Saturday, Chet will play his final (sold out) shows at Sydney’s Opera House forecourt next weekend.
