On his latest BBC Radio 1 show, Flying Lotus played ‘Transmoleclularization,’ a song hard to say but easy to listen to. It’s a freeform jazz piece that has a Pharaoh Sanders type vibe, that was cut from his 2014 album You’re Dead.

Flylo collaborated with Brainfeeder signee Kamasi Washington, a Jazz saxophonist and composer from LA who recently put out a three hour long album, shooting down any accusations about jazz being dead. Kamasi has made his way onto the scene, signing to Brainfeeder and working on Kendricks Lamar album To Pimp A Butterfly, handling string arrangements and abstract horn runs on ‘u’.

Listen to the new song and broadcast here.
