01. Brent Faiyaz - Price Of Fame

Brent Faiyaz is prepping for the release of his album WASTELAND, dropping ‘Price of Fame’ to heighten the already summit-surpassing anticipation. The 6-minute track starts off with down-tuned vocals and a chopped-and-screwed approach, as Brent’s deep, fluttering vocals create a spacious state of euphoria. The second half transitions into an instrumental loop rich with soul, as Brent lets his vocal range fly, further enhancing this song’s experimental ecstasy.

02. Beyoncé - Break My Soul

Beyoncé is back baby, and bound to get you dancing! ‘Break My Soul’ is a house-tinged, motivational anthem, built around a sample of ‘Show Me Love’ by Robin S. This four-to-the-floor frenzy finds the megastar warbling with her diverse vocal range, and even dipping into her rap chops throughout. It’s a summer anthem, that adds some sizzle to the icy air of our current Winter.

03. Yourboymars - Better Things

Yourboymars is both introspective and electric on his new single ‘Better Things’. He reflects on his journey and growth of success thus far, articulating both his struggle and gratitude via ear-catching melodies. His delivery sits atop melancholic pianos, making this track a somber anthem that soars.

04. Cochise - Don't Run ft. Sam Wise, BlazeYL, Mally

Florida’s Cochise curates a mega collab in the form of ‘Don’t Run’. His quick-fire croons soar beside UK creatives Sam Wise, BlazeYL, and Mally of House of Pharaohs, who all feel comfortable at home on the synth-heavy production, sounding like the score for a JRPG over 808s. It’s an instant highlight on Cochise’s new album THE INSPECTION, which you can stream now.

05. Aitch - In Disguise ft. Bakar

In Disguise’ is a pop-tinged sing-a-long anthem. Bakar is triumphant on the chorus, crooning with the utmost catchiness over summer-soaked guitar strums and fast-moving drum patterns. Aitch is his typical self on the verses, weaving witty bars into fiery flows, and continuing to display his charisma. It’s another taste of the rapper’s debut album Close to Home, dropping on August 19th.

06. Dera Meelan & deadforest - Everyday Struggle

Dera Meelan and dead forest are one heck of a dynamic duo. ‘Everyday Struggle’ is a track ready for the two-step, as Dera’s UK club-tinged production pumps with four-to-the-floor kicks and synths that feel as if they were sourced from a nightclub. deadforest flows effortlessly over the top, commanding the high-octane production as if he were the hypeman at a rave.

07. 88YAMI - MY TYPE

88YAMI continues to solidify himself as a prospect in the Aus music scene with ‘MY TYPE’. Instantly evident is his energy, as he lets off fast, rap-sung flows that float over the guitar-laced trap production. It’s music that’s bound to propel any party atmosphere.

08. Snoee Badman - Threats

The Badman comes through with bars in barrages on ‘Threats’. The title alone alludes to this song’s hard-hitting nature, as Sydney rapper Snoee lets off visceral rhymes over eerie, distorted production from Domba. It’s mean, menacing, and a must-listen to get the blood pumping this weekend.

09. Lil Nas X - Late To Da Party ft. YoungBoy Never Broke Again

Now, this is an unexpected collab! Lil Nas X and YoungBoy have joined forces for a flex-heavy banger, with both artists letting off melodic flows to emphasise their successes. They’re supported by bass-heavy production from Take a Daytrip, with every 808 elevating this unlikely duo’s braggadocio.

010. Tasman Keith - ft. Jessica Mauboy

‘Heaven With You’ is a sing-a-long dedicated to self-love. Tasman’s raspy vocals sit atop groove-filled basslines and fluttering keys, as he delves into finding bliss internally. Jessica Mauboy also appears, letting off her soul-filled singing vocals and increasing the vibrance of this uplifting piece.
