Philly rapper Lil Uzi Vert is heading down for his first tour of Australia and New Zealand this February. The self-proclaimed rockstar will be performing dates in Auckland, Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, and Brisbane this summer/fall, bringing the high-octane energy that has made him one of the hottest commodities in hip-hop today.
Lil Uzi Vert’s had a hell of a year so far, with his single ‘XO Tour Life’ reaching number eigh on the Billboard 100, and his collaboration with Migos ‘Bad & Boujee’ reaching number one. This has seen Uzi flooded with awards and nominations, including a Best Video nomination at the MTV Video Awards’, and the trophy for ‘Best Collaboration’ at the BET Awards. That’s not even mentioning is not even mentioning the huge success of his debut album Luv Is Rage 2, which debuted a No. 1 and saw him collaborating with megastars such as Pharrell Williams and The Weeknd.
Previously described as the “king of the kids” by Zane Lowe, as well as his infamous stage diving habit, Lil Uzi Vert’s tour down under is bound to be a blast. Expect hits like ‘XO Tour Life’ and ‘Money Longer’, as well as a series of other fan favourites to shake venue floors early next year. Check out all the touring information below:
