How does one take what’s already the most successful single off their debut album and turn it into that much more of a banger? Simple, put it in the hands of Danny Brown and Leo Justi.
Since the release of their sophomore record, Voices, earlier this year, electro-pop New Yorkers, Phantogram, have received international props for stepping out and daring the the trampled path of shoe-gaze, but giving creative license of Black Out Days to up-and-coming beatsmith Leo Justi might just be the best decision the duo are yet to make. The Brazilian up-and-comer puts a distinctly dark stamp on track with DB bringing just the right amount of bruiser.
